    Birmingham, we’re not thick honest…

Posted in An Objective Opinion & Thoughts on Things... at 13:51 on Sunday, August 17th, 2008 by Mr. Rant

I think you can safely say that Birmingham does not know where it is at the moment, what with this weeks problems over stock pictures that most certainly is the case! I mean how do you get to the point where the city’s own council has no idea where it is.

I mean I live in Birmingham i definitely know where it is, I’m sure i do!

    Below is the offending leaflet.

    iPhone 3G, it’s a lifestyle choice…

Posted in Thoughts on Things... at 5:51 on Saturday, August 9th, 2008 by Mr. Rant

I think it has to be said that after having my iPhone 3G for just over a week, I am thoroughly obsessed with it. It’s become an integral part of my life and I use it constantly; that fact in its self is moderately worrying.

I still believe that it is a beautiful piece of modernism, which its swanky casing, it’s fingered screen, it’s just… this is sad, get a life, that’s what I’m thinking as I write this…

How can a website be addictive?

Posted in Thoughts on Things... at 1:14 on Thursday, July 31st, 2008 by Mr. Rant

Very easily it seems. Firstly I must say that the only reason on found the website in question is because I’ve sold out and bought an iPhone 3G.

The website of which I speak is Twitter, you may not have heard of it, but the purpose of the site is relatively hard to describe. Twitter is basically there for you to update your status, what your doing or where you are, its highly addictive!

    Long live Twitter!

    Cliques on Public Forums.

Posted in Thoughts on Things... at 1:07 on Thursday, July 10th, 2008 by Mr. Rant

To my knowledge and understanding a public forum is just that. A place where the public can make a discursive effort to air their problems, comments and concerns. However, this does not seem to be the case with many so called Public forums.

In my opinion many of the forums on line are now only open to those who sit at their PC’s 24/7 and have the time to post all the time on the smallest of issues. Grow up. Go out and actually make a difference instead of making it online.

Face to face discussion is dying lets at least try and revive it.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Posted in The Arts & Thoughts on Things... at 9:36 on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 by Mr. Rant

Evidently from the date it is apparent that I do not speak of Christmas as the title above would denote; instead of speak of the wonderfully camp Bournville Village Festival, held each year on the last Saturday in June.

In the spirit of the Festival all are expected to have a good day and enjoy themselves thoroughly which for the most part we all do.┬á It’s a great day for kids and big kids alike.┬á I think it’s important for us all to support events such as these as they are a vital integral part of our social history.

A little bit of Birmingham just gets brighter when events like the festival are on, things are good and everything green, its a nice time for Birmingham, when the fighting and social problems are all forgotten on a sunny day in late June.

*There will be photos from the festival online in my gallery early tomorrow.
